His knocks of 314, 303 not out and 331 earned him a Test debut against England in Nagpur in December 2012.

Champions Trophy and Test dominance (2013–2023)

Jadeja was the leading wicket-taker as India won the 2013 Champions Trophy in England and was named Player of the Match in the final. At home he became a key Test bowler alongside Ravichandran Ashwin, and his batting steadily improved to the point where he was ranked the world’s best Test all-rounder. In the IPL he is closely linked with Chennai Super Kings. He hit a six and a four off the last two balls to win the 2023 final for CSK. He briefly captained the side in 2022.

World titles (2024–present)
