This policy explains how IndiaX24 reports, verifies and corrects the news.
Accuracy and verification
We verify information before publication. Where a claim cannot be independently confirmed, we say so and attribute it clearly. We do not publish rumour as fact.
Sources
We name sources wherever possible. We grant anonymity only where there is a clear public interest and a real risk to the source, and an editor approves it.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and visibly. Substantive corrections carry a note on the article explaining what changed and when. We do not delete published articles to hide errors.
To request a correction, email corrections@indiax24.com with the article link and the specific point in dispute.
Opinion and analysis
Opinion and analysis are labelled and carry the writer’s name. They reflect the writer’s view, not a position of IndiaX24.
Advertising and sponsored content
Advertising is separate from editorial. Sponsored or partner content is labelled as such. Advertisers have no influence over our reporting.
Plagiarism
We do not publish work copied from others. We credit and link to original reporting by other outlets when we follow their stories.
