Arshdeep made his T20I debut against England in July 2022. At the Asia Cup that year he dropped a catch in a tense match against Pakistan and was abused online, but senior players backed him, and he bowled well at the T20 World Cup in Australia weeks later. At the 2024 T20 World Cup in the United States and the West Indies he took 17 wickets, equal with Afghanistan’s Fazalhaq Farooqi as the most in the tournament, including 4 for 9 against the USA. In the final against South Africa he conceded only four runs in the 19th over. He also played county cricket for Kent in 2023 and was part of the Test squad on the 2025 tour of England.
