Tiger Shroff (born 2 March 1990) is an Indian actor and martial artist who works in Hindi films. The son of the actor Jackie Shroff, he is known for his acrobatic action and dancing. He made his debut in Heropanti (2014) and became an action star with the Baaghi films. He had his biggest hit opposite Hrithik Roshan in War (2019). He holds an honorary fifth-degree black belt in taekwondo.

Early Life
Shroff was born Jai Hemant Shroff in Bombay to the actor Jackie Shroff and the producer Ayesha Shroff. His younger sister is Krishna Shroff. He studied at the American School of Bombay. Inspired by Bruce Lee, he began training in martial arts as a small child. He later studied gymnastics, parkour and dance.
Career
Shroff made his debut opposite Kriti Sanon in the action romance Heropanti (2014), which won him the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year. The martial-arts action film Baaghi (2016), with Shraddha Kapoor, was a hit and started a franchise, and Baaghi 2 (2018) was even bigger. He also starred in the superhero comedy A Flying Jatt (2016) and the dance film Munna Michael (2017).
Shroff co-starred with Hrithik Roshan in Yash Raj Films’ spy thriller War (2019). It was the highest-grossing Hindi film of that year and his biggest success. The same year he appeared in Student of the Year 2.
Since Baaghi 3 (2020), several of Shroff’s films have struggled at the box office. They include Heropanti 2 (2022), Ganapath (2023) and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024), which he made with Akshay Kumar. He had a role in Singham Again (2024) and returned to his signature franchise with Baaghi 4 (2025).
Other Ventures
Shroff has released several music singles since 2020. In 2019 he and his family co-founded the mixed martial arts promotion Matrix Fight Night, and in 2024 he launched the football club Mumbay FC.
