The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has planned five feeder bus routes for the upcoming Namma Metro Pink Line, The Hindu reported on 11 October 2026.
Quick Facts
| Routes | Five feeder routes |
| Buses | 30 |
| Trips | 415 a day |
| Frequency | Every 10 minutes on each route |
| Existing feeder services on the corridor | Three services, 9 buses, 132 trips a day |
Where the Routes Will Go
The routes will link the metro stations at Jayadeva Hospital, J.P. Nagar 4th Phase, Tavarekere and Hulimavu with surrounding areas including Uttarahalli, BTM Layout, Arekere, Bilekahalli, Begur lake and Singasandra.
Real-Time Information
BMTC is also working with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to give passengers real-time information on when buses will reach bus stops near Pink Line stations. The information would be shared through data integration between the two corporations. The Hindu said the facility is still in the planning stage.
Why It Matters
Feeder buses carry passengers between metro stations and nearby neighbourhoods. The five planned routes would run 415 trips a day, compared with 132 trips a day on the three feeder services that already serve the corridor.
