The reality show Roadies Rebirth premieres on 16 October 2026, with Rannvijay Singha as host, according to The Statesman, DNA India and other outlets. It airs on MTV and streams on Netflix and JioHotstar, which is the first time the show is available on two streaming platforms, according to the same reports. New episodes are released every Friday and Saturday at 7 pm.

The season has a new format called OGs vs NewGs. The gang leaders are split into two teams, with Nikhil Chinapa, Neha Dhupia and Prince Narula representing the OGs, and Abhishek Malhan, Bani J and Baseer Ali leading the NewGs, according to the reports. The biggest difference between Season 20 and Season 21 is the way the gang leaders compete, with a team battle introduced instead of individual gang leadership, according to Pratidin Time.

The six gang leaders add up to two teams of three, which is a simple count. Under the older format each leader had their own gang, so the new arrangement concentrates the contest between two sides. The reports reviewed do not describe how contestants are assigned to teams or how winners are decided.

Readers Fusion and Dazzlerr refer to Roadies Rebirth as Season 21, and IndiaX24 reports the number as given by those outlets. The reports reviewed do not give the number of episodes in the season, the location of the journey or the number of contestants.

The India TV list of Friday OTT releases for 16 October names Roadies Rebirth as the lead title for the day, alongside DC on SonyLIV and Grey’s Anatomy Season 23, according to the headline. IndiaX24 covers DC and the other South Indian releases in separate articles.

The two-platform release shows how streaming rights are shared. JioHotstar carries the show for the Indian market, according to Pratidin Time, and Netflix also streams it. The reports reviewed do not say whether the show is available outside India on either platform or whether the two services carry the same episodes at the same time.

The schedule is easy to count. With two episodes a week, on Friday and Saturday, a run of ten weeks would give twenty episodes, an illustration by IndiaX24 and not the length of the season, which the reports reviewed do not give. The fixed 7 pm slot is the same for both platforms according to the reports.

Netflix and JioHotstar are both streaming platforms with large Indian audiences, and for Netflix the show is a rare example of a long-running Indian television franchise with a new season placed on the service at the same time as a rival. The reports reviewed do not give the commercial terms or say whether the two platforms share the rights.

The sources reviewed do not report auditions, judges’ comments or ratings, since the show has only just begun.

A premiere on a Friday means that the first episode and the second one, on Saturday, arrive within a day of each other. For viewers who want to watch live on television, the show airs on MTV, and for those who stream, it is on Netflix and JioHotstar, according to the reports. Local television schedules may differ, and readers should check their listings.

IndiaX24 will report on the early episodes and the contestants as the season develops.
