Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, the third film in the thriller series starring Ajay Devgn, has crossed Rs 200 crore in net collections in India within five days of its release, trade trackers reported on Wednesday, 7 October 2026.
The numbers
According to figures from the tracker Sacnilk quoted by ETV Bharat and Business Standard:
- India net (five days): about Rs 216.5 crore
- India gross: about Rs 259.8 crore
- Worldwide gross: about Rs 341.3 crore
- Day five (Tuesday): about Rs 19 crore net, a fall of roughly 9.5 per cent from Monday
The film opened on Friday, 2 October, the Gandhi Jayanti holiday, which gave it an extended first weekend. The small drop on its first working days suggests that audiences are continuing to turn up after the holiday.
Where it stands
- It is the fifth film of Ajay Devgn’s career to earn more than Rs 200 crore net in India.
- It has overtaken Golmaal Again to become his fourth-highest earner.
- It is now among the five highest-grossing Hindi films of 2026, and the biggest release of October so far.
The series
The Drishyam films follow Vijay Salgaonkar, a cable-television operator in Goa who goes to extraordinary lengths to protect his family after an accidental killing. The Hindi films are remakes of the Malayalam originals starring Mohanlal. The first Hindi film was released in 2015 and Drishyam 2 in 2022; the second was one of the biggest Hindi hits of its year.
The new film is billed as the conclusion of the story.
What next
The film has a largely clear run until 15 October, when Rajinikanth‘s Jailer 2 arrives, followed by several Hindi releases on 16 October. How it holds in its second weekend will decide whether it can approach the Rs 300 crore mark in India.
Box-office figures are estimates compiled by trade trackers and are not official studio numbers.
